"John Paul II (1-2) won after host St. Andrew’s decided not play overtime because of injury concerns, according to JPII.

The game was tied 27-27 when St. Andrew’s decided to forfeit the overtime."

This is straight from the Jasper Sun Times website.

Very interesting jstrick. Seems that could be another 11-man team who should have considered 8-man - if that were an option.

St. Andrews was a AA team last year so I doubt 8man was an option. They left SCISA this year though. JP still plays them because of location.

MaxPreps says St. Andrew’s has a 35 man roster. But they made the move to GISA so it’s whatever I guess lol.

Wardlaw 62 Palmetto Christian 8

Ouch.

I heard the Rec didn't paint the field for 8-man play, so I'm not too suprised abou the total points scored, just how bad PCA played.
Never be diffrent unless diffrent is much, much better.
