Its been a good week for PCA athletics. On Tuesday, the Middle School baseball team played its first ever game and defeated Lowcountry Wildcats 13-10. Later in the day the varsity team defeated Lowcountry 9-6. Also on Tuesday the boys soccer team defeated Calhoun Academy 9-0. Highlight of the week were tonight's soccer games. Girls team hosted Northside Christian School from Charlotte, NC (I believe they are part of NCISA or whatever the North Carolina equivalent of SCISA is called). In an exciting, competitive game, Northside prevailed 4-3. Afterwards we hosted them at school for food and fellowship. Fun time.
Boys soccer played First Baptist tonight and ended regulation in a 2-2 tie. FB won on penalty kicks, but it too was an exciting, competitive game.
