The RB from pca struggled badly against good competition (see game against the Christian school in Dillon). Was not very fast or very physical.... Tried hard and was a better player for them, some of that may be bc he is a sophomore, some may be the line he had, he definitely has potential but lacks the size of the other rbs named.

THA and CPA do have talented QBs but their individual skill will be tested this year. CPA QB lost a ton of weapons and the tha QB also lost some solid receivers .

None of those 3 1a qbs reads coverage or progressions. Every throw is predetermined by the coach and they all run very very limited pass concepts. There are no 1a qbs that I would talk about on this list. You have to go to 3a for the most part to find better college level play.

Per the State newspaper Bryce Thompson is not returning to Ben Lippen, which he confirmed in a tweet. According to the State article "Ben Lippen Coach Derrick White said Thompson is no longer enrolled at the school"

What year was the RB at Hammond #6? He was a pretty good little player. Also the RB from Heathwood Hall

The 2012 football season for Lowcountry private school teams will be one of change as several programs continue to battle a numbers crunch in terms of enrollment.

Three more area programs are dropping from 11-man football to compete as eight-man programs this fall.

First Baptist, Charleston Collegiate and St. John’s Christian are battling low numbers and will be making the move down.

2012? time warp? BTW - Charleston Collegiate and St Johns already play 8-man - they have for the past several years. First Baptist won the AA state championship last year, so I find it hard to imagine they would have the numbers drop to 8-man level. Maybe single A. but i have no inside knowledge

While it is 8-man, the returning QB for St John's had 50 TDs last season in his first as a QB. 27 rushing and 23 passing

The dark horse of all is Latham of Pinewood (#20) plays every play. He is tough, smart, and faster than you think. Carries and catches the ball, blocks. Folks might remember him as the best wrestler in the state back in 8th grade. Now a 190 pound monster. Ask the folks at Ben Lippen.
