I haven't seen a complete list of all schedules for 2017. Anybody got a link?

That's a negative. Too many "ifs" right now...

The latest info I got from league office was 1 8-Man school in question if they would have a team and 1 Class A school petitioned to play 8-man.

That's an interesting scenario. So if the Class A school wants to play down, but agreed to a 2 year cycle in 11 man last spring.....should they be allowed to move down? Should there be a penalty? What about the schools who were suppose to host that school this year in 11 man and their loss of a game/revenue. Interesting scenario. 8-man schools would be dealing with the same things I just mentioned if they were to lose a school to completely drop out of football.

I'm hearing Calhoun petitioned for 8 man football. Only had 13 boys sign up to play football at end of May.

Anybody heard any official word on teams moving up or down or out? "Official" schedules need to come out so if there are holes now in a schedule, people can scramble to replace games.

Getting close to time...might as well throw out some preseason guesses.....

AAA
1. Ben Lippen
2. Hammond
3. LMA
4. Pinewood

AA
1. First Baptist (The dukes kid has been getting a lot of interest already)
2. REL
3. Trinity
4. St. Andrews
5. FCS

A
1. DCS
2. CPA
3. Pee Dee
4. Heyward
5. Williamsburg (even though they had a large senior class this past year)

I hope those lists spur discussion of some kind on the board!

Not sure about AA or A ball. New to SCISA. For what reason do you base your AAA ratings, just curious? I follow them closer just because i live in Columbia area and there are a lot of AAA teams in this area.

Not sure why AAA showed up with only 4, Porter should be 2.

All I used was last years champ and runner up for 1 and 2 which obviously isn't going to end up being the case. I did zero research and threw teams out there honestly, was hoping people would just on for discussion. Glad you did......

As far as the columbia area, Hammond and Ben Lippen are it. I think Lattimore will have an up hill battle but can do it. Heathwood can be successfull, have been before, but not recently. Cardinal Newman hasn't been comparable to BL or Hammond the last year or two but everybody goes in cycles. Hammond has had one of the best runs as of late since OP in the 90's.

Good info. Thanks for sharing. I do know BL picked up A LOT of good transfers form some very successful programs in the area, so we will see how that bodes for them. Not sure about Hammond, but you are right in stating that they have had a very successful run over the past few years. Should be interesting to see and read about over the course of the next few months.....

Ben Lippen and Hammond in the final.

LMA and WH should ok but no shot for Porter, Pinewood or CN. They all lost too much.
