Scrimmages

What are some scrimmages that are lined up for the end of this coming week? I'd imagine most teams will be eligible for scrimmages starting Friday or Saturday. I did see pinewood, Branchville and colleton prep will be scrimmaging at pinewood Saturday the 5th.

Heathwood will scrimmage Greenwood Christian, Robert E. Lee and Southside Christian on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, Hammond goes to Airport H.S. to scrimmage Airport and Calhoun County.

I think Ben Lippen is scrimmaging a team from the Upstate on Saturday.

How did the above mentioned scrimmages this morning go? Any team or individuals stand out?

According to Twitter, Ben Lippen beat St. Joseph of Greenville 20-0. It wasn't clear if they played a half or just one quarter. It sounds like RB Kyle Wright had a couple of TDs.

The Hammond-Airport-Calhoun County scrimmage was mostly situational, so it was hard to tell who "won" or "lost." Hammond's starting defense looked good, despite missing a couple of starters. The offense looked just okay, but one of the top play-makers was out.

I didn't hear anything about Heathwood's scrimmage.

BL played St Joe's, a 2A team. Only played 2 quarters and put up 20 points. Play Woodruff in Clinton Jamboree this Fri.

Cathedral beat Holly Hill in a scrimmage. I think the final was around 28-22. They also scrimmaged Jefferson Davis who looks to be much improved. This one was a defensive battle the whole way through and finished at a 6-6 tie
