other fall sports

Realizing that this forum is mostly dedicated to football, sometimes basketball and an occasional report on other sports...

In other sports - Palmetto Christian defeated Coastal Christian Prep in volleyball 3-0 last night. Game scores were 25-9, 25-21, 25-23.

JV also won 25-19 and 25-17.

Both PCA teams play at First Baptist Thursday.

So what's with the eye roll? I realize this forum is called Palmetto Football Talk, but in all the years I have been visiting it, the owners of the forum have been gracious enough to allow all other sports discussions to be posted. I've seen football and basketball mostly, but have also seen baseball, softball, golf, soccer, track postings as well from lots of different visitors to the site. So it's not "football or nothing". Don't you think the kids in other sports like to get some recognition too? I do. So I will continue to post results of ALL of our teams as I have the opportunity and information. If you need to discuss this, let me know. I'm always around.

And just so you'll know who:

If this is a football forum then why is it listed under SCISA. I would like to see SCISA get their own forum and cover all the sports. Check out the NCISAA website and forum. They post all of their scores for all of their sports. We play a lot of the NCISAA schools and that is my main source of information.

I log into Palmetto FOOTBALL talk then go to SCISA....that's how it is listed, not the other way around.

That's because I no longer keep the football stats and because someone else already reported the score so me posting the score would be redundant.

Swimming did well in the first (and only) home meet week before last. If I remember correctly we had a significant number of athletes post times that qualified them for the state swim meet later in the year.

Don't know about tennis.

Volleyball is now 4-0 overall, 1-0 in region. Playing at Thomas Sumter tonight. If I get those results, I will post.

Lol won't get involved in that discussion.

Patrick Henry volleyball is 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the region. Only loss has been to Colleton Prep. Beat St. John's last night 3-0. Looks like the Patriots might have a good shot at the region title this year. Jefferson Davis is up tomorrow.
