Not anyone in 8 man, also no offense as well, that's not 4.8 speed either. Trinity byrnes has a nice b back for what they do in the wing this year, always have to look at who lma is using in that capacity as well. I'm sure the afore mentioned kid is a nice player and great person, but not the best fullback by any stretch.

Could not find film on kid from Trinity Byrne's
But now to your 8 man comment here's a history lesson by the numbers.
2014 HHA 42 TB 19
2015. HHA 54 TB 28
2016 HHA Came down to 8 man ran the table till they ran up on AJA
2016 AJA 24 HHA 12
2017 AJA 36 HHA 8
So by the numbers AJA fullback moves the ball a little better. AJA didn't get to 31 and 0 by luck

AJA fullback definately a hoss - drug our freshman heavy defensive line all over the field. Glad he's graduating this year ;) BTW - I saw he went down with an ankle or knee late in the 4th quarter - hope its not serious

Sorry but no. Saying anymore would just be mean. Also you can site what you like about 8 man, that film on YouTube is proof enough, although I don't doubt game film would make me even more right. Nah, sorry fellas he's good in 8 man but that's it.

I'm not saying he's the best in SCISA - i haven't seen alot of the teams, and none of the 11 man teams, play. I'm just saying that in the game against us, he's the best we've seen so far this year. Like trying to tackle a bulldozer. I'd also say - don't knock 8 man programs too much - we occasionally have D1 talent come through - and they make a big impact, as you would imagine. AJA had a D1 back last year, and Cambridge had a guy in 2000 and 2001 that went to Clemson, and later played NFL

@All sports - It’s tough to say who is really the best, because it’s such a subjective and opinionated topic. Everybody is biased towards their own players.

I’m sure Bailey is an excellent athlete but some of the other people on this thread do have a point when it comes to 8-man. By that I don’t mean that 8-man is worse but that the scale of competition shrinks. Thinking about some of the kids he’s going up against, it’s probably no wonder that a guy his size is dragging them around the field. It would be interesting to see y’all play a (decent) 11-man team to see how he measures up against different competition. I was on PHA’s 8-man team that beat a very good St. John’s team in 2009 in 11-man play, so it can be done for sure. Also, I have two friends who played 6-man and 8-man in western Kansas. Both went to Garden City Community College and ended up being D-I linemen at Presbyterian. So, anything’s possible no matter what level you play, regardless of what some others on here think about 8-Man football.

I’d also like to address something else I see on this forum, especially from our fellow SCISA fans (including one post that got deleted). We 8-Man schools are very proud of our programs. I know I’m proud of my school’s program which started in 1971, the first year SCISA organized football, and has won three AA state championships. I’d argue all day that the 1989 and 1990 Patriots are two of the greatest teams ever fielded by SCISA. Not many other SCISA schools can claim that kind of history.

Frankly, I get sick and tired of others’ condescending attitudes toward 8-man. We don’t play 8-man by personal choice but because economic and demographic consequences lead to declining enrollment. If any of you big schools figure out a cure for those systemic issues, please let me know. We’d love to play 11-man again. If you truly love the game, it doesn’t matter how many men are on the field in my opinion.

Jstrick we have tried to play some 11 man teams in the last 2 year but SCISA put a stop to it every time we also tried to play the 11man team for the North South game and there again SCISA put a stop to that to
