Pee Dee Academy beat Thomas Heyward Academy 42-34 Friday night. Pee Dee Academy will meet Dillon Christian Academy in Columbia Saturday for the title Division I State Championship. All bets that Pee Dee Academy will pull this off. PDA has the best quarterback, # 9 Jake Lane, in SCISA (according to stats). Jake has a couple of dynamite receivers and a brut running back. Jake’s problem is certainly not getting it into the hands of a receiver who can move the ball; it is more like which receiver should I go with this play. Jessi Lane # 7, Connor Gasque #10, freshmen Caleb Oakley #4, Dylan Carter # 14, and Running Back McKinley Smith #85 are a few non-stop, can’t drop playmakers. Not to mention a couple of defensive players # 52 Danny Barker and #55 D.J. Atkinson who also add a tremendous amount of talent to this team. PDA’s field goal kicker, Kyle Zeman #26, has added many points to PDA’s stats this season. I certainly don’t think Coach Jonathan King’s Pee Dee Academy Eagles should go to Columbia as underdogs. This is an explosive group of young men, who has the ability to change the direction of any football game to go in their favor

Ben Lippen vs LMA. What a joke. Worst officiating ever. BL is probably the best SCISA team ever assembled. Need to hit the recruiting a little harder. Brick by brick. Unfortunately no BL vs Hammond rematch.
