Looks legit....maybe swap Byrnes and Spartanburg...the return of former coach Ben Fuller should be a big plus on the defensive side for the Indians...>>FEAR THE TRIBE>>>

Northwestern at #5?
I don't know much about our squad this year, might be a bit high on the ranking.I know it's pretty much based off past performances.
My big concern is the coaching, will there be an improvement from last year. Wearing that royal purple doesn't put an automatic win on the board. Win or lose,I EXPECT a concerted effort from all involved.

For anyone who did not get an opportunity to see South Aiken play last year; they are ranked far too low!
Anyone who did get to see them play I don't believe would have any problem 2nd that!
Let's be honest! Some of this is based on recent success or failure. They ( SA ) came out of nowhere L.Y. and perhaps are being judged as a one hit wonder. The way they are constructed clearly they are here to stay!
They have a coach that " gets it". Aiken historically has produced talent. The two schools in the city have not been doing well but not for a lack of talent. They are behind this guy(coach); and they believe(support and enthusiasm for the team). Good strong combination that will get them a bunch of wins. Plus, Roberts @ RB.

I don’t have a problem with the ranking they gave Byrnes. Until The Big Blue Machine can show up on Friday nights as in years past #14 is fine. I think Gaffney is worthy of their ranking they are returning a stud of a team. I think Boiling Springs got the shaft on their ranking. These aren’t your grandfather’s bullpups we are talking about here. I think those guys over there have it together and they have a decent amount of talent. Being a Rebel I want Byrnes to take it one game at a time and if the good stuff that I have heard that has been going on during the summer Byrnes will hold their own. As far as NW you never know what Trojan team is going to show up. We shall see my brothers because football season is about 2 weeks away.

I guess everybody has an opinion this time of the year. My top 15 would go as:

1. Dutch Fork - until someone can beat them
2. Fort Dorchester
3. Westside
4. Northwestern
5. Spartanburg
6. Dorman
7. Sumter
8. Greenwood
9. Gaffney - until the coaches prove themselves
10. Blythewood
11. Boiling Springs - there are questions on the line of scrimmage
12. Summerville
13. Lexington
14. Byrnes
15. TL Hanna

Anyway this goes, Region 3 will be a dog fight. I believe that any of the 5 can beat each other. Dorman could be first, but could also be 5th.
