Dorman and Gaffney should be higher, while Byrnes should be in the top ten. Do they really believe Abbeville is better than Sumter, Hartsville, and Gaffney. Same goes for Dillon. What a joke.

Dorman, Byrnes and Gaffney all play to a vitually tie with each being 1-1 between the three. Those three should right next to each other.

These responses are comical. All year people have been claiming for "no representation" in the low country. Now that the top two teams are lower state teams, suddenly the upper state folks come out and "damn the poll". Lower state folks go quiet. Fans clamor that Dillon deserves more praise and then Dillon starts to rise, now people are damning them for moving Dillon up.
I think we all just need to agree that we are biased for OUR TEAM. When OUR TEAM is where we think they should be, no complaints. Once that changes, we start to question the entire top ten.
Look, at the end of the day a poll is just that, a poll. No one is getting a trophy.

No problem about Fort Dorchester being that high, or Hanna or South Pointe. But do you really believe Dillon or Abbeville would be unbeaten in 5a, not saying they would not win some games, but would have multi losses in just about every 5a region.

I agree, I am not sure that Dillon is one of the top ten teams in the state, however if Dillon was unranked, fans would be on here saying; "How can Dillon NOT BE RANKED?". Its just comical that these same people complain, you ask them to do a top ten and it ends up being basically the same 12-13 teams that this poll has listed. However, these same people feel their singular "ranking" of teams is better. The bottom line is we all have "bias" towards some team. When you get a collection of multiple voters those bias tend to even out overall.

Dillon would be a favorite to win region 6 every year. Most of these teams are a short distance and will not schedule Dillon now.

I’m assuming that “STR” on max prep rankings is strength of schedule. Dillon-0.3
