What we learned!!!

First thing , the overall talent in this state is DOWN...Big Time! I would say mainly the lineman! Got whooped upfront by NC !

Overall talent is mainly still in the Northern part of the state! All-star game at MB proved that!

Last thing....Gaffney coaches should be ashamed of themselves for not having Peanut and Rice in the backfield (At the same time)WITH #1

I may be mistaken, but didn't individual teams from SC defeat NC teams overall?

I agree likeitRnot, except Gaffney coaches never seem to be ashamed of themselves for anything. They can always find somewhere to divert the blame.

They did. Ran Cam Rice to the edge and Pnut Kirby up the middle.
Rice is 6'+ , 185lbs??
Kirby is 5'5', 125lbs??

We couldn’t run between the tackles on NC. Probably had the talent to win with an improved strategy but sometimes SC just didn’t look in sync. Is it possible we got caught sleeping?

We all know the regular season games went our way. I wonder if the players thought they just had to show up to win. Could be NC felt like the underdogs and then played like underdogs.

Was his name Bryce Thompson for DF? That receiver was a beast. The SC defense stepped up big at times. Too many mistakes from the SC offense though.

And what about the 3 blocked pat’s in a row. How does that happen? It was like our line borrowed some of 1st and Goal’s butter flavored Pam. That dude squirted through our special teams line like a new born baby.

SC undefeated 4A state champion (NC 3A size) South Pointe 25-0 over 12-3 2A regional finalist Shelby does not tell me a lot.

Did any elite and equal size NC and SC teams play this season? Any other NC v SC matchups of note?

I guess some of us thought the wins by SP over the Georgia school and the win over Don Bosco by Byrnes had anything to do with NC. Obviously not.
