Stellar hire Riverside- the article says he is a QUITTER! He QUIT coaching football! What are they thinking. It says it in the article. Maybe you let him be an asst, or a 9th grade head coach- but a varsity head coach- REALLY? a QUITTER?

It is the Riverside job, I would think that he was the only one that would take it.

By not at least making an effort to go outside of the staff I suppose that Riversides administration made a strong statement that they have zero intention of even being mediocre in football. Maybe the most Greenville County move ever. And that takes some doing.

"We've got one of the best speech and debate programs in the country. We've got an amazing band. We've got the best Youth in Government program in the state. "

A pretty decent amount of vomit just formed in my throat. Quite possibly the worst thing ever put in print.

Saban-like leadership with that quote. And also underscores my previous post concerning the fact that quite often Greenville County is just gonna be Greenville County. And after decades of questionable, often head scratching hires, when reading that quote, we may have a new champion on our hands.
