Gaffney/Gwood

I know it's early but I'm glad they got this game back on our schedule. Last time I attended this game was in1998 @Gaffney. We lost 35-42 in double overtime however that was pretty much the beginning of the gwood golden era.

That's when gwood had Mark Logan, Mario Brown, DJ Jeffrey and others. I believe Gaffney had a big QB named Bradshaw and a pretty good running back named Brian Martin.

Does anyone know the series score?

Glad to see Greenwood toughening up it's non region schedule again. It makes them better. This is a classic matchup.

Gaffney/ Greenwood is always a good game, it's good when you have a series involving stories programs, and there's always that controversial state title involving both teams back in the 60's that looms. Excited about this game as well.

Yea the the title game and then you can't ever forget the dreaded and embarrassing tear gas game where one of Gaffney's finest knuckleheads thought it would be cool to wreak havoc on a game and be funny freaking idiot

A Blacksburg knucklehead, he wasn’t even a Gaffney fan.... I hate to even remember that game, I was scared as hell, I was in 7th grade in the stands with my Dad.
