OT- BMW TO MOVE TO CHARLESTON...NEXT DOOR TO BOEING

Heard through the grapevine at work that BMW will be moving to Charleston from the Upstate.....not sure where in the upstate that they are located, but word is that it would ruin the economy for some poor town. Bad news for them, but great news for Charleston's economy... Boeing is really making their presence known here....everybody wants to come here now !!!!! ;) ;)

With all the investment BMW has in the current location and the effort to establish an "inland port" right at the current BMW location it seems strange that BMW would even consider such a move. I think I read where the Port Authority already owns 800+ acres adjoining the BMW plant.

I believe, if properly handled, the port in Charleston could create a serious economic boom for our state. I believe deepening the harbor for the bigger container ships would be a great idea.

Now look swoopingmater....You are getting to be more and more like dem Injun fans. BMW has spent waaaaaaayyy to much money here to move your way. Stop dreaming of getting The Creeks numbers up to Qaulify for the Big Boy Club. Aint gonna happen.
