New Indian Land coach wants parents on his side

Horatio "H.B." Blades was hired as Indian Land's new football coach - you may remember him as 2006 Big East Defensive Player of the Year at Pitt - after his predecessor was forced to resign essentially because of a parent protest. Blades talked about his plans to deal with what are some involved - in good and bad ways probably - parents at Indian Land: http://www.heraldonline.com/sports/high ... 75817.html

Interested to hear any thoughts on this one, because I'm sure there are some coaches and parents on here.

I remember him, his dad, and his uncle when they played. He sounds like an awesome young man. If the community rallies behind this guy, I think he might be able to build on heck of a program there.
