In case you haven't noticed, it's not Bluff fans making the bold predictions. Something the Bluff has lacked for several years now is blocking. That's the main reason they haven't went very far in the playoffs recently. They have had some good defenses, and that amazes me, because they don't tackle well, either.

beau its all about attitude with timberland those kids bust their hindparts in the weightroom and it shows ..and the comment about reloading is a mind set if you have coaches that are positive you will want to play every down for them at a 150% .....youth can be coached up attitude can be coached up but heart is earned !!!!! you either have "it" or you dont the last 9 years timberland has had "it" even in coach craigs 1st season 1-9 timberland played with heart and determination. when players believe themselves their isnt anything they cant do!!!! GO WOLVES 2010!!!!

Well, don't make any Columbia hotel plans just yet.....Dillon Wildcat Fan must be great friends with Jackie Hayes, because both of them are super conservative in their speaking. Common sense tells you when you lose 15 seniors you have to fill some holes. Dillon has some key players returning and a winning tradition to uphold. These younger players are not new to football, Jackie Hayes is a politician, so you have to read between the lines. His last few words in the Dillon review was..." we have the most talented group of kids he has seen"... You can bet your sweet azz, eliminating Dillon in the play-offs is NOT going to be easy. ;)

Oh I agree......but the top 10 or 12 teams do exactly the same thing......so it usually comes down to talent in the end.....

Wildcatback2back, you should know who I am...Dillon County parks and rec director.. Vernon Grimsley. I KNOW what's coming up to Dillon. I've watched these kids grow up playing rec football. The thing that I enjoy is to see these kids move up the ranks from rec ball to high school. You can usually tell who's going to be the stars later on. You will also see some kids who weren't that great in rec ball but later on they become some very good players. We have 8 tackle teams in Dillon and 6 flag teams. So these kids learn the same things Jackie and his staff are doing. Do I believe Dillon can repeat? Yes, I do "IF" these young players are ready to be starters. 2010 is wide open in 2a, that's for sure!!

Dillon wildcat fan, whats up.....yes I know you now. i stand down there in the end zone around you on friday nights. i agree with you on some young kid really excel after rec and b ball, i remember watching one of our past RB in rec ball run all over every body and never really panned out in varsity....so yeah, you never know.

i feel good about this year, i feel the new lil nastycats will step it up. whats your take on Ray Thomas.... I talk to one of your summerville/newberry college buddies pretty often.
