Region 2 got alot better geographically.
George Washington didn't use his freedom of speech to defeat the British, he shot them.

And Region 1 got a lot worse.

It's 85 miles from Crescent to Landrum and Chesnee, and 100 miles from Crescent to Blacksburg.

As a Emerald fan I am going to miss being in AA. Some of the best football games played in the state are in class AA. I absolutly love the new region 2 and wish that Emerald could play in that region instead of moving up to AAA. Oh well maybe we can schedule those teams for non-region play because those are Emerald's geographic rivals and make for some good games to watch and be a part of.

It doesn't get any easier for region 2. Lose Woodruff, Broome, and Emerald only to add Batesburg-Leesville, Abbeville, and 96. Going to be some good, hard hitting games in that region. If Saluda can keep improving, that will be a very good region top to bottom with Newberry and MC in it as well.
