Does track success = football success?
St. Joe's won the state title in track again yesterday. (The bulk of the points coming from football players in sprint events.) That being said, does that translate into the Knights being a favorite/contender to win the region next year?
The region is: Blacksburg, Christ Church, Landrum, St. Joe's, and Southside Christian

It means your Skill players are fast. Course, when you put all those pads on, things change.
But, yeah, I'd say it helps.
Very interesting question.

I believe it can equal success with the right football coach. Football is definitely a team sport that at times works well when each player is winning their individual battles. Success with track (more so an individual sport) helps with that.
