Really OCA?

The class 2A board is dedicated to all the schools around the state that compete in Class 2A and work towards the goal of a state championship.

Really OCA?

According to MaxPreps OCA is in Class 2A. Here is there scedule.

8/17 7:30p@ Baptist Hill
8/24 7:30p Savannah Christian
8/31 7:30p C.E. Murray
9/7 7:30p@ Gray Collegiate Academy
9/14 7:30p St. John's
9/28 7:30p@ North Charleston
10/5 7:30p Burke
10/12 7:30p Philip Simmons
10/19 7:30p@ Timberland
10/26 7:30p@ Garrett Academy Tech

This is WAYYYYY to easy for a team that is loaded so much. IMO even though the school is small, they should make them play 4A or 5A to be more fair.

Gray actually is playing a 5A school and has a much harder schedule.

8/17TBA @ Gilbert
8/247:30p Swansea
8/31 7:30p Dreher
9/7 7:30p Oceanside Collegiate Academy
9/14 7:00p@ White Knoll
9/28 7:30p@ Lamar
10/57:30p Columbia
10/12 7:30p Calhoun County
10/19 7:30p Eau Claire
10/26TBA @ Johnson

OCA probably won't have more than 2 losses. Who was the knucklehead in the SCHSL office who put them in 2A? Or, did the OCA principal ask to be in 2A?

Snakes everywhere in the Charter landscape.

It continues to confound me in the SCHSL office the difference it has with responsibilities and accountabilities. The SCHSL continues to get the pass on stupid and moronic decisions and lack of decisions and yet the association's body or schools (AD) continues to pay enormous fees (Tax monies) to the group (HSL) in order to be a member. Perplexing they are responsible but not accountable

The SCHSL has needed new leadership for years. Unfortunately, the commissioner has enough of his cronies on the executive committee to protect him. Things will not change until the current commissioner is gone.

One of their players said they expect to be in 3A next year, and he admitted that their schedule is "way too easy".
