Have you noticed......the totaldummy cannot talk to me without mentioning Silver Bluff.......I guess they really impressed Abbeville in that state championship game........and another thing.....he knows things about my friends....

Actually, to the contrary. That was not one of our better teams and we gave Silver Bluff all they wanted and then some. With less than a minute remaining, we were driving for the tying touchdown deep in SB territory and fumbled. Not bad for a team that was not supposed to be there in the first place. And that one (1) measly title is the only thing that separates Silver Bluff from A-Town. But don't worry --- we will even the score within the next few years. Guaranteed!

Bluff was darn lucky to win that game. We may not have been better, but, we had a td called back right before half, and, on that very late in game Bluff 4th down qb scramble and big pass completion, they had lineman WAY down the field, have tape to prove it. They went on to score winning td. Two big plays, they got the break on both. They should also be glad that we upset, and, I mean upset a great B-L team the week before. They didn't want any of that B-L team, guaranteed.

Your guarantee is worth little......Silver Bluff has played Batesburg twice in the big game.......and I'm sure you know who won......we were all set for them again.....when Abbeville upset them in that rainstorm.......and by the way....that's the only way Abbeville could beat BL.......BL had the better team that year......but SB had the best team......

First, it wasn't a rainstorm, just a little light, cold rain. Second, B-L punked your boys 23-0 the year before. Third, read my post, I said it was an upset, did not need verification on that. The rain had little to do with it, we played better, upsets happen. B-L was a better team than us, true, they were also a better team than Bluff.

I suppose the fact that Silver Bluff after defeating Abbeville in the 2000 state championship game....defeated that same Batesburg Leesville team the very next year in the state championship game......the fact remains in 2000 and 2001.......Silver Bluff was the best 2A team......and Batesburg Leesville was the 2nd best........as for Abbeville.....they should be used to losing.....

Please someone throw a line What does all this about the two team' s past history have to do with the title? I understand no one will read a tread with their names in the caption, but please stop piggy backing..

Mr. beaudicless Point of interest! Not that new here and fortunately my attention span is fine. However, No one wants to come on a tread directed about a contender and end up reading countless posts about some pretender. A random comment / post or two should indicate to you that a new subject should be started versus wasting countless back and forth rantings about material irrelevant to the current subject matter as courtesy to other readers. :o

Since you seem to think this thread is just for you.....and that you should be in charge of it......and the fact that you are so immature that you feel the urge to dis-credit fellow posters comments...with countless circumvallation.....as I stated before......I suggest you go to another forum of you liking.....

Been a while, hasn't it? If they were the best, it was by a half a whisker. Could have very, very easily lost both those games. Already discussed the events in our game, but, B-L barely missed a 2 pt conversion in 2001 to win it. Bluff has great history, they also have had good fortune in title games, winning most of then by scant margins. If they ever make another title game, chances are they will lose. Those numbers have a way of evening out. The way AA is now, they will struggle to make it.

I guess it's been long enough...that you can't remember the game clearly.....the 2pt conversion play was defended with only 10 men on the field......by mistake of course.......but the play was not even close....the BL QB was on his way down to being sacked....and threw a desperation pass while nearly on his back.....the pass went almost straight up and was knocked away easily by a Bluff defender....BL could easily have kicked an extra point and went to overtime.....but their coach knew who the better team...and had no desire to do that......

I seem to have hit a nerve and for that I am sorry. NOT! However your comment is clear and your suggestion noted. Now you take a note! Until we are beaten that makes us the champs. Can you say "Back to Back to Back" and this tread is our tread . Read the Subject matter. It states "Chesterfield Rams this year". Not some has been game that did not matter. So if you want to walk down memory lanes then I suggest you find another site. Preferably one who gives a rats rear end about your suggestions.

No....if I say back to back to back......I would be breaking the rules that you yourself are trying to impose on this thread.....I would be walking down memory lane....I would be refering to games that did not matter.....in the past......not about Chesterfield Rams this year.....and what gave you the idea that anyone cares about your suggestions.......
